About this resource
Gisborne District Council sought advice on an appropriate approach to establishing Baseline Attribute States (BAS) for periphyton at existing monitoring sites representing each freshwater management unit (FMU) in the Tairāwhiti Region.
Dr. Mark Heath (Traverse Environmental) used a multiple lines of evidence approach to estimate the periphyton biomass baseline attribute state for each monitoring site in Tairāwhiti. Mark prepared a short technical report that detailed the methodology, results and uncertainties associated with the approach taken.
